You don’t have to be older to need a safety net.

Medical emergencies and life’s unexpected challenges can happen at any age. Millions of Canadians under 65 are managing chronic health conditions, mobility limitations, or living with disabilities and deserve the same confidence, independence, and access to emergency support as anyone else.

Victoria Lifeline is Manitoba’s most trusted personal emergency response system, providing 24/7 access to help at the press of a button. Whether you need extra support while recovering from surgery, managing a health condition, or simply living independently, we’re here when you need us, even for short-term recovery periods.

Who Can Lifeline Help?

Even though Lifeline is often mostly associated with older adults, Lifeline’s usefulness extends far beyond just one demographic.

Support When Living Alone With a Chronic Condition

Our medical alert devices are used every day by younger adults in Manitoba to help them manage complex conditions. Symptoms can change quickly, and emergencies can happen without warning, especially when you live alone. Our medical alert systems provide fast access to assistance for individuals living with conditions such as:

Diabetes

Lifeline provides fast access to emergency assistance in the event of low blood sugar, dizziness, falls, or other unexpected diabetic emergencies while living alone.

Heart Conditions

Lifeline helps individuals with heart conditions quickly connect to emergency support if they experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or a cardiac-related emergency.

Epilepsy & Seizures

Lifeline offers peace of mind by providing immediate access to help during or after a seizure, especially for individuals who live alone.

Parkinson's Disease

Lifeline supports safer independent living by helping individuals with Parkinson’s quickly get assistance in the event of a fall, mobility issue, or medical emergency.

Post Surgery Support

Recovering from Surgery

Post-surgery recovery at home shouldn’t mean recovering alone. Outpatient surgeries and same-day procedures are more common than ever, which means more people are going home to recover without a nurse down the hall. Whether it’s a knee replacement, hip surgery, or any procedure that leaves you temporarily limited, our post-operative home support gives you a direct line to help if something goes wrong.
